No. No word on any of the main anchors leaving just a if and when.. With Alastair, however, you'd imagine he'd be wanting to cut down his hours in the not so distant future.

How do you work that one out then?

I can't believe you said that.

He is an excellent broadcaster who is as good as ever.

Ugh. Creeps.

It's true though. We don't know the man, who are we to make such pointless assumptions?

It's these times when TV Forum's name is blackened by stupid comments in rota threads when I would rather it be gone from the forum altogether than have it here in some form. It's embarrassing.

It's not even a rota thread now, it's a fictional rota thread based on what might happen if something that has just been made up happens.

The obsession with the third tier presenters and demanding they appear on the main bulletins is getting quite tiresome, so people are now fabricating people's retirements to get those presenters in those slots.

Yeah, Catfacts, you're gone buddy. No-one upsets Alastair Stewart.

Well it's nice to give a few people a laugh at the very least... Not unbanning despite lack of official "upset" however.

Was that Alok Jha's first on screen appearance as the new Science correspondent?

You may notice today that the ITV Regional News is shorter because of the Switzerland vs England Euro 2016 Qualifier which is starting at 7:15pm.

The ITV Evening News normally at 6:30pm is on for it's normal length and began today at 6:15pm.

I just seen an incident in where a man had flipped his middle finger behind Tim Ewart while the perpetrator was passing Kensington Palace on his bicycle.

I didn't record it as I watched it though.

One thing I've noticed lately is that Mary Nightingale hasn't been on as much as she normally is, and Julie Etchingham hasn't been on since Friday 19th September 2014, either. My guess is that they're either taking holiday leave, or Richard Frediani is giving the other female presenters such as Charlene White, Nina Hossain and Ranvir Singh a chance to shine.

Oh wow - you mean... TWO WHOLE WORKING DAYS?! *headdesk*

And I can also tell you the esteemed Mr Frediani won't be a) the only one making presenter line-up decisions or b) "giving people a run-out" just because he's a nice bloke (although he is) - at its heart, it's the same basic HR whether you work in a factory canteen or a TV studio - the slots need filling, so they get filled, and hopefully by someone as competent as possible.

EDIT: Post to which I responded appears to have been deleted, probably because it did the whole micro-analysing of presenter's diaries thing!
