Just going back to the discussion we were having last week about BBC News presenters during the 1990s, I knew that Huw Edwards had presented the One O'Clock News during the "virtual era" but I didn't know he presented it once he took over the Six O'Clock News in May 1999:
I guess it was probably a one-off given the special nature of the day (the eclipse). I do have an excuse for not knowing that fact, as I was at Chester Zoo that day
