In the whole time I've had it I've only had to restart it 3 or 4 times too, compared to the almost daily restarts the Scientific Atlanta V+ box did (I've heard the Samsung V+ and Cisco TiVo aren't so bad though).


I don't know. We got Virgin a couple of weeks back, just got a 1tb TiVo box put in yesterday, and packed up this afternoon with a green screen of death.

I found a screen grap of the existing Sky+HD EPG to compare against the new beta test one.

There isn't much difference in the front screen, as previously explained: but by showing them alongside each other (apologies for wide pic) it demonstrates the cosmetic changes.

It's not to dissimilar to the graphics used on Sky Go for Xbox.

Oh, so they're going for the BBC2 method of bastrdisation now.

We must be looking at the worst set of Sky channel idents surely? It's certainly doing wonders for the credibility of the Chrome 1s and even the ultra sh!te lifestyleeee stuff from '99.

Yeah, because what if Man Utd play Newcastle? Both teams are called United, can't use UTD then. Same goes for Man City vs Norwich. Both are CITY. Sky must've figured, no need for the MAN, since it's in both names. It'll revert to normal for the next match, because normally, UTD and CITY just don't work in that context.
