Ugly Betty

What's happened to it on Channel 4, the last episode was 'Bananas for Betty' and ABC are two episodes ahead now. Are C4 just not showing it over the festive period, or is it because of the WGA Writers strike?

AFAIK at the end of Bananas for Betty the announcer said that was the last episode until after the new year.

They're probably holding it back due to the strike - most shows which usually debut in January here are being held back at least a few weeks.

Just looked on the ABC website and there's a preview for "an" all new episode of Ugly Betty! Looks like we have to wait a few more weeks yet!

Actually they're not - the last two eps broadcast on abc were repeats S2E2 and S2E3 - the last new ep was 'Bananas...'

The next Ugly Betty is on Jan 10th in the US, and on ahem a few hours later......

I don't understand why production was halted during the WGA strike. Are the episodes produced just weeks before they are aired, or are they made way in advance and it was just the post production that was halted due to the strike and thus stopped the show being aired.
