The Salon

So... the second series is nearly over... What are your thoughts about it?

This series was sh*te. Full of sh*te. Even celebrity sh*te. Really put me off my tea.

Apart from that, it was pretty uneventful. Hate that Irish straight-lesbian woman, you give her a job and she wont do it!

I'd like to see Jorge have his own talk show with maybe some wrestling involved.

I wouldn't like to see Salon staff popping up every five minutes on TV after the Salon has closed, Ricardo really got on my conkers - him and Tara Palma Tompkinwotsit.

Although Terry is on Saturday night ITV, his part in Love on a Saturday Night is pretty low-key (unlike him) and short (like him) so that 'aint too bad. It's when he starts screaming for attention on other reality TV shows you start to think "oh ffs just p*ss off!!"

The Salon = Total trash. Complete and utter waste of time, money, and TV airtime. Absolute sh*te!

I never liked it, it just annoys me. Everytime I turn on E4, its there. It's so depressing, so annoying - just a complete utter waste of space.

Seriously, everytime it's on it just drives me up the wall. I really hate it.

Did anyone watch last night's 6pm edition of Channel Four's "The Salon"! ? If so, the bit where the winner of Big Brother 4 came in, the screen went blank… and only audio was left. Channel Four put a message up on screen saying 'Temporary Fault' and the continuity announcer said that they would continue with audio until it was sorted out! It came back after about 30 seconds, but on the repeat this morning; (7am) they had no problems at all. I only tuned in for the bit that went wrong! Maybe they did not want us to see Cameron! (The winner of Big Brother 4)

Anyhoo what has really annoyed me about The Salon this time round is Paul. He gave them into trouble yesterday for phoning head office and acting like celebs etc.. When clearly he does it himself. Poncing around like he owns the place doing as he likes. To me he's being totally unprofessional and acting up to the cameras.

If I could slap him I really would.

Is "The Salon" a backing name for a well known hairdressers eg Tony and Guy?

Thank You for saying that, I cannot stand the show myself, a load of b*llocks, the second run has been on for far too long, they would be forgiven if it was a six week run but it has been going on forever! It is a waste of space having it on every night, it makes Channel 4 so boring, especially with Holloyoaks being added to the schedule every night! Where was the time allocated for such DECENT shows like Futurama or Smallville.

Have you seen what they are replacing it? A programme called 'The Fit Farm' which looks crap, just a load of fat people getting manicures and the lot! It doesn't help when we have this on 4 and crap episodes of The Simpsons on BBC Two.

I think I'll stick with Granada Reports thanks!

The only bit of The Salon I found funny was when ex-kids TV now Bid.up.TV host Peter Simon visited... "Slap my thighs - call me Roger lets play!"
