I don't get it? It just seems a bog standard end of series Tweet?

Just been told that he’s a roving reporter on the show.

Oh, you where asking about his connection to the show. It sounded like you were suggesting he was hinting that he would be leaving.

So on the one hand Shirley is too serious and on the other too energetic. Shes probably doing just fine then.

Too serious when it comes to having the 'head judge' role. She's overly harsh on certain contestants, and overly positive to others (mainly younger, handsome men.)

She already obviously had some sort of influence in one pro's departure, I wouldn't be surprised if Anton is gone next year.

If he is, he went out on a high, getting to the final for the first time since SERIES ONE.

This article mentions that and tells you which couple won: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50764073

Rumours in the press today of Anton du Beke bowing out of Strictly, allegedly wanting to leave on a high (it is easily his best year, having got his first ever "10"-paddle scores along the way and making it to the final for only the 2nd time) and/or quitting before producers decide to drop him.

At the age of 53, he is surely the oldest professional dancer still doing Strictly by a fair margin. Past pro dancers seem to have quit / been dropped (deemed to no longer being young and attractive enough?) at much younger ages than Anton (circa late-30s / early-40s?).

Didn't he make the final with Katie Derham as well?

The BBC article is incorrect: he didn't make the final in the first series, he was eliminated (in third place) in the semi-final.

So the BBC can't even get their facts right about one of their own TV programmes? Mad

Yes of course because the BBC is just one person who does everything.
