Reboot reboot announced

Reboot: The Guardian Code (described as Power Rangers-esque - I wouldn't call the original Reboot that), an animated series based on the Spy Kids movies, and a remake of David the Gnome titled Gnomes , have been announced. Apparently they're destined for CITV (article mentions an ITV acquisition offer).

I for one am absolutely over the moon the ReBoot is getting a 'reboot.' I remember CITV cancelled it during season 3. Hexadecimal was always my favourite even though at times she frightened the life out of me...

Citv themselves didn't cancel it as Citv or Itv didn't own the show.

Didn't CITV drop a few other shows, I remember there was a big fuss over Cardcaptors at one point although I think that was a couple of years later.

Sure you mean Cardcaptors? Are you sure you're not thinking of the Pokemon saga when an episode caused epileptic fits in its viewers?

Cardcaptors was edited for transmission in America for content reasons, and the same prints were used in the UK.

Digimon was dropped on CITV, though that was for reasons beyond their control. Tamers was also dropped after a few episodes, because of 9/11.

No but they stopped showing it as the 'violence' might be inappropriate for young viewers.

CITV's decision actually affected the budget for the 4th series, which meant it just fizzled out.

I remember watching Reboot. Not many people seem to remember it. The last time I saw it, they'd made it darker and the boy was an emotionally damaged adult. I think I missed what happened in between, so was quite taken aback.

They finished Digimon Adventure 02 and started Tamers on the same week, then dropped it. It had nothing to do with 9/11.

And the Pokemon epilepsy thing meant the episode in question never aired outside Japan, it won't have had any effect on CITV.
