Nice to see Corrie at the top where they belong! Although 7.8 is a bit low for Corrie isnt it? However people out getting ready to celebrate the new year was bound to have damaged figures a little.

They're only at the top because the types of people who watch it are socially less active than people, say, who watch Eastenders .

Yes, New Years Eve didn't help the ratings. I expect Corrie to bounce back tonight.

Yes, that would explain why on Friday evening EastEnders came top in the ratings. Talk about socially active, eh?

We ARE bunch of drunkards and thugs. And anone who watches soaps religiously has to be socially retarded. End of.

Not to mention Christmas Day when EE got more than Corrie and came 2nd overall.

Corrie fans obviously have better things to do than watch soaps on Christmas Day
