I don't think we've seen "ITV" on screen in capitals since the late 90s, and it does look somewhat odd. Obviously though they spent so long thinking about what to call the programme they didn't have the time to ensure the title card was on brand.

It was also used by Sky News in its hour top theme for a while in the late 90s. Presumably it’s a library track, but I’ve never managed to find it.

Maybe it's just because I associate it with something so tragic, but it really did cheapen the show hearing it after every break or guest walk-on or award announcement... That's if you didn't consider the show to be cheap enough already.
