Going back to my earlier question, does anyone know what happened to the Carlton family of channels?

Now I don't know if this is 100% correct but Carlton Select World & Kids were dropped by certain cable copmanies so they stopped transmitting them (they had idents on On Digital's website but only logos that would be seen on websites). Carlton Food Network became Taste CFN for reasons I don't know with only Carlton Cinema remaining at the moment & been constantly advertised here although only on Carlton not so much on LWT;)

Please note I don't know if this is 100% accurate but does anyone have any of the idents:? Confused Very Happy

It's written Taste°, not Taste CFN. To type a ° hold Alt and type 0176. The ° will appear.

They were so shortlived, nobody probably has any idents!

You are probably correct - CFN became Taste because of a deal between Sainsbury's and Carlton. But why not simply Taste instead of Taste CFN. It looks such a mess

° is degrees. Taste has a full-stop.

Look at the logo - it is a degrees sign.

sorry it's just that in the TV times they put Taste CFN:D

It's a hollow full-stop which acts as the logo's twist to make it different and original. A degrees sign is superscript, not level

test to see if it will rematerialise.
