Will we see potential changes with ITV News and Regional News tomorrow or are they staying as they are?

I highly doubt that anything will be changing. Maybe some ultra-minor tweaks at the absolute most.

I guess that tonight's Evening News at 6:35pm would be where any changes would debut, rather than tomorrow?

Why would the news change? It only uses a single colour version of the logo and the logo hasn't changed shape

Poor, in my opinion. Doesn't reflect the channel or what's being shown on it at all. Yes, it's "arty" so well done, if you're into all that, but is it actually better at doing the job that an ident is supposed to do than those in the 2013 set? Nope.

That's just bad choosing, there is a more appropriate ident for that programme:

My overall feeling so far is that it’s all ‘nice enough’, but somehow just lacks that wow-factor. Perhaps following BBC Two’s rebrand, we’ve been a bit spoilt.

I also preferred the previous look’s cohesiveness between the idents and other pres elements - I guess it’s a down-side of changing the idents every week that the trailers, etc. are never going to be able to reflect them in any way. So, for me, it feels a bit like the channel currently has two separate identities.

As Asa said, the trailer endboards seem a bit cluttered and busy. There’s something about the cut-out logo and layered elements that makes me think I’m looking at a page from a business card manufacturer’s catalogue.

That said, this week’s idents do look very nice, and it’s great to have a bit of creativity on screen. It’s just, for me, as a package, it doesn’t quite push all the buttons.
