It's funny looking back on the fact that at one point ITV (including GMTV) had around 4 hours worth of children's programming on a Saturday morning with a battle of the sexes contest shadowing over them.
I did like how Jamie and Anna used to promote Saturday Showdown in their closing link on Toonattik - "Join Holly and Stephen 'downstairs'...".
