Grand design of advert

I think the 5pm show is filmed inside the ExCeL (I thought I could hear the hum of people talking in the background), although I don't know why they can't broadcast from the evening set.

The Grand Designs Today programme has to be seen to be believed. Where is TV Burp when you need it.

Whilst I love Grand Designs, Grand Designs 'Live' seems poor, and has no real aim. It could have been so much better, maybe a more adventurous build instead of a box on the river bank? Its a shame that more thought and planning hasn't gone into this programme. Looks like its just an excuse to erect a stage outside and attract crowds to see Kevin.

It's not up to Grand Designs standards is it. And a shame they're not really focusing on the house build at all either.

Indeed, it seems to be one hour's worth of content, packed into ten.

Surprised how low it's been ratings really - just under 2m most nights, when the main shows usually attract a good 4-5m.


Not so surprised by how low GD Today rates - less than a million.

They're both awful. Another example of Channel 4 milking a great show to death.

I;m wondering if this daily show was a last min half arsed, show to give paul a week off this week?
