GMB could be replaced by cartoons if it doesn't reach it's 15% share target.

To be fair, this isn't exactly an ambitious target. It's had 15.7% from an audience of 610k in the past.

ITV deny The Sun's claims about GMB:

The show has been overhauled, If the sun is that bloody stupid not to release it will result in a major shift in viewers then sun has no idea how poupler media works.

You can accuse The Sun of a lot of things, but not knowing how the media works really isn't one of them.

They're just stirring it, trying to create a self fulfilling prophesy.

ITV can't just switch to cartoons and repeats, at least not before they've bribed Ofcom to ditch the licence requirent for news (Oh, did I just say that out loud)

They have made a few changes but the format has pretty much the same feel as day 1.

Either way they need to stick with the programme and see what happens.

I flicked over at 8am and they were showing "curvy women" selfies of larger female viewers in bathing suits. This was at 8.02am.

There may be some sort of audience for this, but certainly not anyone expecting news at the top of the hour. Didn't seem to me to be "everything viewers need to know when they wake up in the morning."

They were in response to an earlier item, and was preceded by regional news, and proceeded by 10 minutes of headlines.

It's far too early for itv to even consider axing it.

I'm not calling for it to be axed, just still doesn't make much sense to me to go straight from your opening sequence into pictures of fat people.

I agree, but they use it as a top of the hour feedback rather than starting the show again. Chances are a lot of viewers won't tune in at 8am on the dot.

Four presenters is too much, I'd like to see Sean and Charlotte axed. I don't like all of the rubbish on screen either and the straplines "Developing Story" etc. are terrible.

Really?
I think Charlotte is the best presenter GMB has!

As for the straplines, I agree with you on that.
