If I'm understanding correctly, the multi-camera matches are the ones that are usually shot by BBC for MOTD, and also get shown live internationally.

So all BBC is doing extra to that is adding some graphics in Salford (presumably) to show live on iPlayer.

BT were taking the international presentation for these matches last weekend, as they did for the extra Friday match in R4 last season.

---------

Given all games are expected to be multi-camera in R3 (as they have been the last two seasons), with international coverage... I suppose there's a chance that BT could show all 32 matches (minus BBC TV picks) on their numerous red button channels.

Very Happy I love the term 'Third Round Proper' as if there's a knock off Third Round of the FA Cup to get confused with!

Not much of suprise with the live BBC games - only real one is them going for Arsenal V Newcastle.
Arsenal in a rather fallow period of recent results, so you can only put it down to the opposition of Newcastle, so they can make him happy and deploy Alan Shearer as pundit for that particular tie.

Plus the game will run 0-0, so they can fill an extra hour of the schedule.

There is a third round in the Qualifying Competition to get confused with. The First Round of the FA Cup is actually the 7th round.

Better than that, it's the ninth. Extra Preliminary Qualifying Round (typically in early August), Preliminary Qualifying Round, four qualifying rounds, then the first round proper.

Confused Extra prelim, prelim, plus four more qualifying rounds is six, which would make Michael correct about First Round Proper being the seventh.

Both the 4th and 5th round draws will be made tomorrow.

Quote:
There will be a double draw in the Emirates FA Cup next week, with both the fourth and fifth round proper draws being made on Monday 11 January.

Hosted by Reshmin Chowdhury and conducted by Peter Crouch, both draws will be made back-to-back to aid with fixture scheduling and will form part of BT Sport 1’s pre-match coverage of the third round tie between Stockport County and West Ham United.

You can also watch the draws live via our official Emirates FA Cup Twitter and Facebook channels with the fourth round draw scheduled for 7.10pm before the fifth round draw will be held at around 7.23pm.

The fourth and fifth rounds are due to take place over the weekend of 23 January and Wednesday 10 February respectively.

Will make organising -- and potentially reorganising - the fixtures easier should "elite" sport be suspended in the next week or so.

I’m out of the loop a bit, is this expected?
