Great news to see Auntie Pammy back. The UTV Life set has been socially distanced even before it became the 'in thing' so I expect no changes.

Here's the first episode of the 'current look' from 2018 when the show started to come from its new home at City Quays 2.

It's not gonna be the same though from this series for me...No Julian introducing it, No UTV Dog, just doesn't feel right..."UTV Life on ITV"?!?

And normally UTV Life is mentioned in continuity announcements leading up to it throughout the week and in daytime on the day itself (i.e. Fridays when it use to be on at 8pm). I'm only expecting the weekly UTV Life promo trailer as the only thing we'll get this week leading up to it.

On an unrelated note, those potatoes at the beginning are terrifying. Either a psychopath or a first-year animation student was behind them.

There were complaints about continuity announcements from UTV over the years, but they were never this bad.

I'm not sure we really want views from Stormfront...

Before clicking on it, try and guess which announcer it was...

Correct answer, well done

This is just shamefully embarrassing from ITV.
And to think certain folk were delighting on here when 'dated' continuity from Julian was axed in November.....to be replaced by this!

I feel sorry for Andrea and Andrew at ITV, who deliver high standard, high quality, well delivered continuity (on par with Julian & Gillian may I add), and then on their days off their colleague delivers this!!! And this is just the tip of the iceberg for this guy! Try and find as many clangers from Andrew/Andrea/Gillian or even Julian!!

Is it possible that the script was autocorrected?

Mistakes happen, this was a cringeworthy one; I'm sure the announcer will be mortified when it's pointed out.

If this was a pre-recorded announcement, are such annos usually reviewed by a director/third party? Is this being affected by restrictions?

You could be right, as compared to some of his others, he was talking slowly and confidently with this one. Usually its a case of him racing through everything too fast and tripping up.

I noticed this as well. Someone must have pointed out his pacing as I've noticed his recent links have improved but shame about this slip up. Yikes

'Stormfront' conjures up images of both a volatile impending weather system and Robot Wars' hottest new radio-controlled fighting machine.
