I am watching eastenders under protest this evening.

Is this how the cuts are manifesting at the beeb?

A civil partnership ceremony, on a Tuesday, in an Indian restaurant?

Surely they could have done a location shoot in a crappy register office, and or indeed just find a room with key lime coloured carpet and 80s wallpaper and used that. Surely that pushes the boundaries of credibility even for enders?

Tuesdays aren't the best nights for restaurants.

Also most Indian and Chinese restaurants close on those days.

Off track, but here in my region, Tuesday nights are amongst the most popular in the week. They are called Ladies Night and all ladies get free drinks. As a consequence, the bars are heaving with ladies wanting free drinks and young men trying to court them.

Perhaps tell Zainab and Sharon they should give it a go for their respective businesses!
