Has anyone worn a tie yet? Very young and sexy looking. The titles are very much a mix of GMTV's 1993 titles and Good Morning with Anne and Nick.

Only 6am by the looks of it, shame because the music sounds nicer on the 6am titles.

I had never thought how odd it would be to watch a chain of news reports without name checks at the end. I wonder was this an editorial decision, or are they planning on using the reports on ITV News bulletins?

Liking it so far. I love the all window studio and the weather wall, however the weather graphics are a bit rubbish.
The way Adrian and Christine keep leaning forward to the camera is irritating, it seems as if they need glasses to read the autocue.

It does have a RI:SE feel to it. So far it's been good, never really watched the one show properly so getting used to these two will take a while. Did anyone manage to capture the longer titles?

I got up at six for numerous reasons today, so I could see Daybreak from the start.
I liked the titles, showing people getting up and going to work harkens back to the first GMTV titles.
I like the studio, I thought the view behind the glass was a picture in the publicity photos, so I was kind of surprised when it was an actual window.
Video wall is pretty nifty.
Good idea having a sports desk and news desk.
I like the big clock.
Strap animations are nice.
Weather Cams in a grid seems kinda original, as does the 'Five a Day' thing.
I note they have slugs to tell what's coming up, but don't seem to mention what's coming up, so bonus points for lack of redundant elements.
Regional seems rather more consistent than it was with GMTV, but that huge, screen filling 'Daybreak - Region Name' looks kind of ugly.

And as I write this they close Daybreak with a montage and end card, rather than just going straight into Lorraine.

So yeah 10/10, I was watching it and I thought that in the first 10 minutes Daybreak was already better than GMTV.

I thought it looked rather messy there with everyone piled onto the sofa.

Was Lorraine Kelly not supposed to have an audience?

I enjoyed your post - I agree with everything you say! I especially loved the montage of the show's highlights (hope that's a regular feature not just a one-off) and hope that its uploaded soon!
