I like the way they've done the "ice". I don't think it'd be very good if you didn't know the name of the show though since the c and e aren't very distinct.

I thought it was a 100 at first

I do hope they do the show justice. I felt by the time last series ended it was feeling very stale and repetitive and therefore came to a natural conclusion.

I'd be surprised if Jason Gardiner didn't come back as one of the two other judges. And ITV must be throwing a lot of money at this if they are building a custom-made main rink and training rink complex.

I reckon ITV may be building this up again as a potential X Factor replacement and Strictly rival in a few years time if the ratings don't improve for The X Factor and The Voice fails to make the mark ITV hope for.

I think it's fair to say that The X Factor is in terminal decline at this point after peaking in 2010. Though presumably it will continue to air until ITV have something that rates higher than it on Saturday nights, or reaches the same young audience.

Looks like this is the new logo.

Wouldn't be surprised if the new home is the same location as where The X Factor is coming from.

The logo is fine and even if you'd never heard of the show logic should still give you the name. It also looks like something that will look better animated. Better than what went before.

I forgot about this little gem. I think it's nigh on impossible that the other 2 judges would be Karen and Jason. It would be handbags at dawn.

If it was X Factor that would have been staged but you can tell that was not.

I think handbags at dawn is what ITV would want, so very possible.

Is that what the audience wants? The continued sucess of GBBO, Strictly, Im a Celebrity and BGT show the opposite imo.

Please God no, you can have a "nasty" judge without being plain vile and stupid. " You looked like faecal matter"..... Rolling Eyes

I like the original logo, simple and classy that went along with the lovely theme tune.

Hopefully it'll be a new version of this rather than a complete new tune.

I'm not sure if I'd like to see it replace the X Factor, there used to be something lovely and cosy about it being on during winter nights after Christmas. Whilst it began on Saturday nights, I think Sunday was it's true home.

I agree that the theme tune is lovely - but I've often wondered if it was written when the title of the programme was "Stars on Thin Ice" - I think the name change came pretty late in the day? The three note hook always sounds to me like it was written to accompany "On Thin Ice". That could well be complete nonsense (there are plenty of programme themes with three-note hooks), but it's been on my mind for however many years the show has been around, so just throwing it out there.
