I am trying to connect my computer to my Samsung UE32EH5000K TV.

It has a HDMI/DVI input port which is where the manual suggests to connect the PC to.

I am current using a vga cable with a vga - hdmi adapter to connect it to the TV.

When I follow the instructions regarding connections and editing the name of the source it still says that there is no connection.

Anyone know a way to solve this issue?

I haven't tried using a dvi-hdmi cable from my computer yet, but I thought it should still work with a vga + adapter, anyone know if this is the case?

Cheers.

Hi there,

This isn't that type of forum I'm afraid so you'll have better luck trying elsewhere, we're more the TV telly anorak type here.

However for what it's worth, HDMI is a digital connection, VGA is analog, if you PC has a DVI output, use that as it is compatible with HDMI, VGA isn't which is your problem.
