usually there's a promo [ usually quite good] before the presentation launches

Would BBC One not wait until Saturday December 5th to launch their Christmas presentation before Strictly Come Dancing?

They didn't last year. I suppose you're right, though, they might very well do that.

Since Strictly Come Dancing has been more important this year than ever before, with 10 million tuning in each week, it would be the perfect launch platform for their 2020 Christmas presentation. December 1st would be buried as it falls on a Tuesday.

For the last few years the promo has come with the idents rather than ahead of them.

Well it is supposedly a Christmas Special of the Coronavirus Briefing tomorrow, so maybe those who had 4.30pm on the 24th November in the sweepstake might be lucky. Very Happy

Will there be a Christmas version of the opening titles?
