Have any ones from the big guns started airing yet?

I've seen a couple of sofa 'in time for Christmas' ones.

John Lewis and Partners apparently will feature Elton John and a rework of 'Your Song" as the theme of theirs.

It'd be nice if they brought the dog inside this time.

Apparently, the M&S ad is going to have a lot of stars in.

Is it me or are these ads coming on a bit later this year. All the main brands are focusing on Halloween, rightfully so considering it’s coming up sooner. But still, usually by now they’ve already started to emerge, right?

No a quickle Google search reveals that M&S was 7th November last year. John Lewis 10th November.

They usually wait until after Bonfire Night.

No, it's generally early November when they start

Usually, the earliest are on Halloween or the day after. The likes of Argos, Currys PC World and Vodafone tend to launch theirs around that time.

They do seemed to have pushed back a bit in the last couple of years. Halloween seems to have got more ridiculous than ever though - almost as much stuff in shops for it as Christmas now.

I see QVC and Ideal World are in the Christmas Spirit.

I note there is a QVC Christmas channel on Sky too. Ideal World has been using the Christmas jingles for about 3 weeks now.
