The new lights ident is very nice, though doesn't come close to beating the 2015 one IMO. However does show that they really should have gone the animated blocks route with their new idents, or at least added more to the mix to use more regularly.

Not seen the sprouts one yet but it looks more Scrooge than Santa.

I'm the opposite, I saw the sprout one but haven't seen the new lights. Like the Simpson's ident, a noise (from a tuba I believe) is heard. I think it's missing a trick as each noise could be a continuing note of a Christmas carol tune.

I asked Channel 4 a few days ago and a number of times since and all they said is we've already recently revealed idents so I took that as a no.

They let nothing slip apart from the trailer bumpers.

I'm glad they've left it late - this was probably normal back in the 80s I'm sure someone can correct me as I wasn't around for long in the 80s xD

Nice ident. Simple but effective. I've not seen the Sprouts one yet.

Slightly odd that they're still using the 2015 trailer endboard (the "snowblocks falling" one) but not the accompanying ident.

None of the 2015 trailer endboards, ,the snow one has been revised.

Yes, you're right- I've just checked, I hadn't realised.

Some clever Christmas Day scheduling from Channel 4 - The Great Christmas Bake Off has been scheduled for 7:40pm, the same time as Call the Midwife over on BBC One and straight after the Strictly Christmas special. Both Bake Off and CTM are the same duration, meaning that those who want to can switch over to Channel 4 for an hour or so and then be back for EastEnders at 9pm! In contrast, none of ITV's shows are starting the same time as something on BBC One.

I really love this, super pretty.

Then I see this one and at first I’m liking it and then for some reason I thought ‘it’s literally just rolling vegetables and trumpets’ and sort of ruined it for myself...

They've really made a statement about showing the 4 logo again.

Kind of sad the blocks from Christmas last year aren't back but I guess they aren't part of what Channel 4 wants anymore.

Although considering the logo isn't in the new idents it's not exactly crucial to have it in the Christmas idents.
