The DOG is now coloured rather than grey, as are the break bumpers.

Idents are not just the blocks coming on screen to 4 Score, and trailers for It's A Sin are in 4:3 and in their 80's style. They seem to have put a bit more effort into this than originally thought. Just hope the drama is a success for them as they have heavily trailed it and are really pushing the 80's theme.

The one I saw before King of Queens was a strange one with a mask and a hand coming out of a TV set. The announcer trailed It’s a Sin and ended it saying ‘It’s not the only drama with queens on Channel 4 - here’s the king’.

We had 'Around and Back' going into the 08.25 junction, with the CA getting the programme they were introducing wrong.

They've really gone to a lot of effort for this one with multiple idents and bits of pres dug out, rather than just the usual blocks. Indeed even that has been updated slightly to try and avoid it looking static after formup.

It looks like they're keeping the regular promo style for other shows such as Steph's Packed Lunch.

I don't think anyone expected seasonal promo / trailer stings from the era! Hats off, this is a tremendous effort.

The 80's blocks ident shown this morning looked like the original but zoomed in (and looped slightly to enhance it) rather than the remastered one they used for the 35th anniversary which looked better proportioned and sharper.

Also, it's so nice to watch Channel 4 in the mornings without hearing that screeching "Pass it over 'ere!" for every ident!
