They look like they actually spent money on this. Well done Sky.
And yes, I agree, if I heard that annoying "eeeehh uuuhhh" noise one more time at an ad break or saw the ident of the woman fawning over a picture of Alexander Armstrong I would have punched the screen.
I did wonder if they'd use their next rebrand to launch an HD channel. Let's be honest, they commission so much modern stuff now, there's probably enough to justify it.
Much better than the last look. Strong identity so hope they keep them around longer than the last few. Only thing that could do with a tweet is the opacity of the DOG when in white.
My issue is that they very specifically refer to programs, rather than genres - unless they're prepared with more of these than we know, they're very linked to the current schedule and could date as rights come up for renewal.
To an extent, the same was true for the characters (which I didn't mind), who became very tired and outdated because they weren't kept up-to-date with new additions.
The "YOU CAN'T BEAT A BIT OF BULLY" text is very BT Sport....
Yep. My thoughts exactly.
For those that don't know, BT Sport go into breaks with a short 'just long enough to read it' snappy half sentence on screen. Sometimes hashtaged, sometimes not.
Challenge/mmmultiply appear to have watched those and gone "hmmm, interesting"
Still seems like they're having trouble making the coloured DOG disappear. It was kept up for the whole second half of Catchphrase earlier but disappeared at the start of Family Fortunes.
