Look out for Marie Ashby's new series, in which she flies across the Midlands' rivers in a helicopter, taking in sights and scenes of the central England landscape. It starts this Thursday evening at 7.30 on ITV1 throughout the Midlands.

Meanwhile, last night on Central News, Marie and Kevin had an interview with Dan Rivers from ITV News about a national story with links to this region. Then they had a chat with CITV presenters about CITV at 20.

There is no Soccer Sunday this weekend because of the FA Cup, but Central News' Manish Bhasin will be returning next Sunday at 2.00 with all the Midlands' football action.

Also, Lifeline with Central News' Lisa Foden returns to central England this week, straight after the 3.00 bulletin of Central News, at about 3.15.

This weekend's bulletins are back to normal, with Emily Reeve in the chair.
