With a dodgy bit of Photoshop added in, yes.

After many years of no live Saturday morning television it was refreshing to have Saturday Mash-Up on air this morning.
Nerves were clearly felt, possibly because it was new for the production team and the presentation, and these came across on screen more than any other debut I can think of. With the last big debut being TMi you had a friendship in Sam & Mark, and an established presenter in Caroline, plus what seemed like an incredibly capable production team that ran things very seamlessly. Saturday Mash-Up was a bit rough around the edges, but it will get better.
As for the programme itself, I love the branding and animation but I'm not sure about the theme, it doesn't seem that strong at all. It actually sounds similar to a backing bed from Dick & Dom in da Bungalow to me, though I noticed at least one sting sounded like an Andy Bluthe & Marten Joustra tune, the guys behind the D&D audibles, so not totally surprising if that is the case).
The set works very well for how small it is, close angles with layers helps, along with the use of the corridor and the green room for links.
A very SM:TV inspired way to begin with a song, and a nice dig from the Children's department of how cookery has ruined Saturday mornings for years.
Obviously having just email as the way to contact the show cuts down any need for operators to man the phones, though it was nice to see that they still called viewers back to take part in the programme.
I was a bit sceptical about having Hacker included in the programme as he seems to be used for a lot of CBBC pres. but he did add comedy elements to the show, and is the one with most live TV experience on the presenting team. I do agree that he should not interact with the audience as they all seemed bemused. Along with the moments mentioned by BeanoMaster above I enjoyed the moment during the viral send in he mentioned that a viewer was yawning because she was watching The Next Step!
His Radio 1 bit was entertaining, and from it I learned the first line of the Cotton Eyed Joe chorus, it all makes sense now
It's a shame that Greg James has never had the opportunity of hosting a Saturday morning programme, I feel that he could have worked very well. Anyway...
The concept may be a bit alien to the audience, but maybe the producers didn't get hyped up enough before hand. Didn't the old London made programmes use children from stage schools to add an atmosphere?
I felt sorry for Jonny during the Viral link 8 minutes in. There was clearly something wrong setting up for the danger mouse sketch, whether this be positioning cameras or people getting changed. Jonny got his onesie on quick enough.
As for the games, I loved 'How many things in a thing', especially the jingle and a great concept that works similarly to The Big Breakfast's 'More Tea Vicar'. 15 seconds per caller may be too long once the callers get the hang of the game; although after 3 years on SM:TV Live some callers didn't understand that Wonkey Donkey had to rhyme! Jonny & Yasmin seemed in their element with this part, getting very excited for the callers. I know that budgets are tight, but surely they could have had a prize for this game. As for push off (I was expecting it to be called 'Off your trolley), it didn't help that Steve crashed into the set on the first go. Barriers may be needed for next week. This could be a competition, either having a list of callers (emailers) that guess how many the winner will get in their trolley, or each celebrity playing on before of different viewers.
The monarch feature didn't work well for me, but maybe the target audience like seeing other kids houses.
I know that it's Saturday morning, but the gunging seemed shoehorned in, similarly as to how it did during the ending of MoM, my mind conjured up the MoM theme when they were throwing the gunge.
Over all, a lovely addition to the schedules, a promising first addition, some tweaks are needed and energy to Yasmin, the music and the audience, and despite not being in the target audience I look forward to seeing it next week.

How long did the Gunge last on MOM? I sure it disappeared with the revamp ( along with that strange cake game) in come ram ray , The doctor and Mr lee ( vincent wong played it up great, he was in James bond film)
The problem is, is anyone in Manchester production team well versed in Kids department of the old school Saturday morning telly? would it be worth while going someone who worked at TV Centre on Going live or early L&K or even someone from Maidstone? I can understand why there have new technology, I bet alot of people will just tweet in question.

Cakey Sk8 stayed after the revamp and a new cake inspired board was created. The gunging in the tank disappeared but the thank you desk brought back gunging to MoM at the end of each show (clearly inspired by Tiswas).
I noticed that the production cap said CBBC Presentation, so presumably it is being made by the continuity production team.

Cheers for that, but the show needs a gimmick Im not sure what. Every series had one, in some case two
If there can find that and tweak everything I think it will do fine. I Hoping if it does good then another 12 week run can appear in April/May/June so there can the everything going and a proper full series can return in September 2018 for 30 weeks

Long overdue return of proper Saturday morning TV, though it is scary to think it's a completely new concept to much of it's target audience, though they've done a good job of remembering the appeal of Saturday morning kids TV went far beyond kids - something notable in hiring two non-CBBC faces.
The first show was never going to be polished but was promising enough and ticked most of the boxes, though agree the theme was weak and the kids in the studio didn't really seem to know what to do. I thought Jonny showed promise - not so convinced by Yasmin but clearly alot of first show nerves. Hacker is already a star but felt quite disconnected from the show - could do with more interaction with the hosts.
Really hope though CBBC give it a chance - it did feel like the show actually had some kind of budget rather than being done on a shoestring.

Yep, Ian is exec producer. The other producer, Jamie Wilson also produced Hacker's Big Birthday Bash and was also a runner on Da Bungalow.
Apparently, the producer behind 'Hacker's Big Birthday Bash' (CBBC anniversary show) Ian France is behind this as well. I'm sure the show will be fine with a few tweaks.

I still remember the day they blocked off all the doors. He really went for the last one thinking it was a sure thing...
I don't think there be allowed to have a midget ramming doors but still.
