It will be back at some point in one way or another but it's good they've called it a day and drawn a line under the series

I agree Inspector Sands, and am hopeful the rumours the C5 deal have fallen through are correct as it's right for both C4 and Endemol to end it now. The UK version also wouldn't be the first that has ended due to Endemol pricing itself out of the market.

Daily Star tend to make up absolute sh*t.

That's absolute bull - they'd be no reason at all for C4 to do that, and if they had opted for an extra January series, I'm sure they'd have let BB11 play out and then done Ultimate BB next year.

I hardly think they'd go to all that trouble with a huge carnival finale extravaganza just to bring it back in January. It won't happen. Basically it's just the Daily Star saying they hope it returns.

The entire article is based on the final words "Big Brother will get back to you". Quality piece of journalism.

I thought they'd have made up something more interesting now it's over - was expecting a big expose on how the show all works, based on someones post nobody replied too on Digital Spy.

The one fact we have to go on in regards to Five getting the rights, is Endemol's extension of the house and land until 2013. Unless they're planning on holding a lot of business events there, me thinks it'll be returning somewhere!

It would seem a waste of money, unless they did pin their hopes on someone buying the show and they have been let down, only time will tell.
