Well so far, I've been calling 2010 "Twenty-Ten", and I'll stick with that. It's a bit like either (eether/eyether)
By the time we get to 2013, it'll certainly be twenty-thirteen, through to twenty-nineteen for 2019. Therefore for consistency across the decade 2010-2019, it should be
2010 Twenty-ten
2011 Twenty-eleven
2012 Twenty-twelve
By the way, what will the new decade be called. We've had fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties. 2000 to 2009 was a tricky one, but noughties seems to have become the generally accepted name, at least in the UK. What will 2010 to 2019 be called?
Indeed, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all on the forum.
Also, what is the general consensus for the pronunciation of next year?
Twenty-ten, or
Two thousand and ten?

Merry Christmas everyone.
The official name seems to be the 10s, but I think we should just call it the decade between the noughties and the 20s.
I agree about refering to the years as twenty ten, twenty eleven, etc. There's no reason why we couldn't have said twenty-o-four and twenty-o-eight and so on really.
