There is a great file on Isonstine TV called BBC WORLD - World News 98. It is a zip file and contains 3 separate files, the full version of the Headline Tune, Opening Titles and End Titles from the old flags era. I've also e-mailed James Ison asking him what else he'll put on, and he said he'll put some current News 24 stuff as well as flags era stuff. The old BBC News tunes are all there and they're very good.

Well just to make you all jealous I have the last set of flags music, the one previous to that, and the current ones ... they're nice in Stereo!

Nicky are you going to let your friends at tv home share your collection???? or at least some of your collection as i would love some of the flags music from world. Especially the advert filler music used until the BBC WORLD relaunch a year ago.

Hint hint! I think Nicky's message on the previous page applies - it's probably more than his job's worth to simply give them out. It's fine to request for certain sounds but I think that simply sending personal messages around won't change people's minds if they've got their hands tied.

I dont mean to sound desperate but i just love that music. Why did nicky have to tell us he had it. if he wont let us even have a bit of it. its just teasing people who are less fortunate than them who dont have access to it.

I'm sorry. To make you really angry I could tell you about the BBC World music for when there is a really big death but that would be unfair.

Would that BBC World music be used across the BBC if there was a really major death. What plans do networks, in particular BBC, have in event of major deaths/events. I might start a new thread....!
