Was wonderful, I've been enjoying tonight. Wish they'd thrown on an episode of Satellite City though.

And for those of us without access to the BBC Two nations, the BBC One COW had popped up before the lottery and MOTD with references to the programmes on 2 Wales.

So it did, can even see where they've overlaid the BBC1 Wales over it.

Quite a few things here which are new to me - notably the black and white spinning BBC WALES CYMRU logo and the Radio Wales slide, which I think most modern so called branding experts would have a fit at.

Is it just the one night of programme - a shame really they didn't make a season of programmes out of it.

Great - and a real surprise - to see the one-off return of Powder!

Top stuff from BBC Wales; well done to all involved in the presentation tonight.

Wonder if we'll get a proper closedown with National Anthem over the COW on BBC One?

No such luck.

I couldn't agree more.

I want to say well done, and thank you, to all involved in last night's retro presentation. I watched it all, with much interest, from London, and you certainly showed network how significant televisual anniversaries, such as this, should be presented!

A particular highlight, for me, was the 28-second Widescreen showing of Powder, shown just before Welsh Greats. Fantastic stuff!

Added an overview of the evening's Presentation from BBC Cymru Wales in video for anyone who didn't catch all of it - including the trail for the entire programme lineup that preceded the junctions, and related continuity from over on BBC ONE Wales.

And a wee extra for further viewing: Dave Jeffery has been tinkering away at recreations of some of these retro graphics recently, not all of which made it to air; he's posted a montage of his ideas.
