Whilst watching the 6 o clock news yesterday, I noticed that no regional insert was put in after the headlines, it just went straight into the opening titles. However, whilst watching the one o'clock news, there was a regional insert. Can anyone explain why there was no regional insert at six o'clock?
On both occasions, LDN was opted into the 615 slot, certainly into the MT area, then MT went ahead as usual at 630.
This might be a soft question,(speaking as 'Joe Public'!) but if there is/was a talkback problem, why didn't they cancel the 615 opt as well, instead of everybody getting LDN instead, & people wondering what happened to MT, NWT, EMT, PW etc? (I thought someone hadn't pressed a button at Pebble Mill personally!)
On the subject of technical problems, did ISTR LDN, or one of the other regional progs, once they moved premises, have problems getting to air at some point? (Can't remember why though!)
What's the betting MT might have a similar problem & we end up getting LDN at least once, until everythings 'run in' ?
Was Central's problems last year, a Central only problem, or did it affect anybody else around Broad Street as well?

Well the West had an ident at 6 and opted out for the 615 opt as well
