We have BT Vision and have noticed that the BBC Hits and BBC Catch-up services have changed recently.

There used to be a BBC generic ident into the program but it's been removed and replaced by nothing.

Is BT Vision having its own version of the BBC iPlayer? It'd be handy if it did because the Catch-Up service is terrible. The BBC Hits channel is pretty good with some excellent shows such as dinnerladies , [Spooks], EastEnders and The Office .

Is BBC Hits available on Virgin Media or Tiscali TV on their on-demand or is it BT Vision only?

How does BBC Hits work? is it a channel or just branding for a catalogue of old stuff?

BBC Hits? First I've heard of it and I've got Virgin Media, so it musn't be on there.

Sounds like a half baked version of the iPlayer. I guess BT might be getting the jitters now the iPlayer is on Virgin Media for free via the red button. It's unbelievably good now I can watch the shows on my proper telly.

BBC Hits has been on BT Vision since it launched. It is a kind-of BBC iPlayer where you can watch the 'best of the last 30 days on the BBC' or watch classic BBC programming.

It's included in the BT Vision package, but is available for £0.99 a programme if you don't want to subscribe.
