abc1 sound difficulties

just been watching 8 simple rules on abc1 and from about 12.10 the sound has been fuzzing and switching from stereo to mono a lot. it is particularly bad when there is loud music or loud talking. is any1 else experiencing difficulties? i am watching abc1 on freeview and all my other channels are working fine.
EDIT: they seem to have fixed the problem now, going into the next 8 simple rules. did any1 experience audio problems between 12.10-12.30 on abc1?

I didn't notice any problems with 8 Simple Rules on Sky.

thanks orry. mustve been a freeview thing as all the other channels on my tv were working fine.
