Just a bit too blue for me, but done yesterday for obvious reasons.

Just goes to show though that they can 'save' the box from being too bland with a bit of colour.
Throw in some more red for the other shows and they might get away with it.

Ideally though one day, I'd love to hear that they're building a new modern studio that they can really show off.

The Glassbox was originally meant to be the 'new modern studio' they can really show off, but they've decided to restrict themselves to one side of the studio which is nothing more than a screen and a few light boxes. This tweet I found just shows you how bland the presentation has got...

I see the point being made when those screengrabs are put side by side.

I'll take a stab at why those 'scenic' angles were binned.
A) more staff, therefore more distractions going on behind the presenter for the viewer.
B) Light balancing issues with daylight coming in from outside, leading to glare and reflections?

With a really long curved newswall, rotating desk and even a shoebox?

Sadly doubt we'll ever see a news studio/news room like Sky's of 2005 once again.

Sad how just a few blue lights make the SkyNews Box slightly interesting to watch.

The Sky News Australia Twitter account has had the lower case logo treatment

Odd set of fonts in that video, finally the logo has changed from the very old one.

But the music theme still hasn't changed in Sky News Australia when looking at that video. They still use the 2010 TOTH music.

Horrible fonts, really horrible, very poor graphics overall.

It just looks rather cheap in all honesty. Say what you want about the Sky News UK graphics being bland but they're clean and minimalistic and while not exciting, they do work well on screen. Whereas this is a mix of very simple at times and overly glossy at others.

The graphics are poor (especially the 'live one) but the 'Voice of God' is easily the lowlight. Bruce Hammal it ain't and it seems like a movie really badly trying to imitate what they think a news bulletin is like. It goes almost robotic towards the end.

Titles look like a poor recreation of the Sky Sports News titles, only in red.
