ITV Weather

The ITV Yorkshire weather is currently sponsorless after the contract with the Yorkshire Building Society ended last week

Since the current corporate look came in, how has your region dealt with this?

Yorkshire are just using the generic "Weather" sting in and out of the forecast, which is quite poor as at the start it doesn't say that it is the 'ITV Yorkshire weather' just 'weather' and at the end there is no where for the summary to go so there isn't one

It hasn't happened to Granada recently, last time it did was in late 2004 and they just replaced the sponsor (which was United Utilities) with a GMG sting with Pete Haslam (YTV announcer I think) saying Granada Weather with a short piece of music, it was nice actually, I think it happened to Yorkshire too.

I'd guess most Regions would do the same.
