They seem to have a new 2-3 minute segment called 'The Week On Web' which (obviously) explores the latest web/social stories.

Is it showcasing Local websites etc or is it National/International sites? If it's the latter, will all the Regions obtain this feature?

Seems like a good idea, although seems more at home on GMB, the main show or an opt.

Its more national/regional stories.

I see. Thanks for replying. Placing any form of National stories within the programme is a bit naughty (unless from that Region).

Interesting to see both ITV News London and ITV National News virtual sets in one photograph, I thought it would just be a black space in-between:

I guess for 'special coverage' of something, the studio would play host to some experts etc, so a 360 degree studio would be needed.

Or, more likely, it's joined together for simplicity's sake. There's no possibility of an ugly join showing on a wide shot, and there's no faffing around when they change sides.

Probably. Odd that only the middle camera sits naturally, whilst the rest sort of float and cast no shadow.

Will be interesting to see what they do for the election - would make sense to make use of the London set as an interview area.

Didn't they have a seperate set for the 2010 election?
Even if using the current set anything has to be better than the 2005 weird mix of the theatre of news with square desks on an angle approach.
