The BBCNC hasn't taken the News at 1 today, and is instead simulcasting with BBC World News, but the signer that usually pops up to do the News at 1 in sign language has appeared as normal - not being able to read sign language I can't tell but he is presumably signing what's on the News Channel, rather than still doing it for the News at 1?
It was eventually acknowledged and replayed about half an hour later (with some appropriate blurring) with Victoria saying that they had been contacted by lots of viewers pointing it out.

It's been mentioned before that Victoria looks at her papers and scribbles a lot (like a radio presenter would) when interviewing people, so she quite possibly wasn't looking at the output.
I don't watch the show but I caught the trail on BBC Breakfast mentioning an upcoming EXCLUSIVE with a British couple who escaped the concert hall attack on Friday. Tune in for their DRAMATIC story.
Seemed a bit tacky to me, esp as a police raid was ongoing today too.
Would anyone else agree with me that Christian Fraser is absolutely top notch? 👏🏽
Every time I've seen him, he's been great. Over the summer I saw him doing lives on the Greek bailout, then back in the studio the same week presenting reports on schools/education, and company news/business/economy stories. A very good all-rounder.

Yes. He's impressed since he stood in for Paddy O'Connell presenting BBC Three's 7 O'Clock News back in the early 00s. Rare combination of excellent reporting and presentation skills. Also speaks like a normal person, but not in a dumbed down way.
