Isn't the BBC Scotland regional news at 18:30 good enough?
Suits fine considering it's a country not a region.
Point taken, but I meant "regional" in the sense that it is in contrast to the national news.
Sadly you'll find that the EU classes you as a region (viz EU Parliamentry Constituency), since Scotland alone is not a member country of the EU. But that's Brussels for you
