The new changes are very radical it seems, here's what I gathered so far:
Rosemary Church leaves weekends and gets a weekday slot at 7am CET, one hour of WR. This slot was always done by London since they opened the center. Initially she'll do both hours (7-9), not sure who's supposed to do the second hour.
World Business Today extends from 30 to 60 minutes and starts at 9am. Presented by Charles Hodson (London) and Andrew Stevens (HK) as usual.
Zain Verjee now only does 30 minutes of WR at 10 am. She's also becomes the regular IList host , which means she'll travel to different country each month and present from there for a week.
Monita stays in her 30 minute slot at 12.00.
Kristie's WR is split. She does 30 minutes at 13.00 CET and then a full hour at 14.00 CET.
Don Riddel does World Sport, either at 12.30 CET or the evening edition which will now come from Lodnon at 23.30.
Not sure about HK mornings, we'll see what happens. I don't like the fact Atlanta's overnights are doing parts of London mornings.

Thanks so much for this info, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say that the 7AM CET "slot was always done by London since they opened the center." CNN London didn't originate morning programming until 1997 or 1998, when CNN This Morning and World Business This Morning were launched.

My guess is that the 17.30 cet edition will now come from Atlanta. Also there's a new edition at 11.00 am HK time (11pm Atlanta) and that one will probably come from Atlanta too.
The worst part of the schedule is the late HK morning, with 3 hours of no real news bulletins (9am Situation Room - recorded, 10am Anderson Cooper , 11am World Sport, 11.30 taped program).

CNN's studios in London have been around for longer than that. The International Hour and, somewhat later, the 7PM CET hour of World News had been co-anchored from London since at least the early 1990s.
World Business Today was also anchored from London from its inception, but it was produced jointly with the Financial Times at first, so it *may* have originated from there at the very beginning.
I meant London center, wasn't that the time they opened it, in late 90s?
I know it got a revamp in 2000 when the Queen visited them.

I remember watching CNN International for the first time in 1994, and remember London solo anchoring World News at 9pm UK, usually Hilary Bowker or Richard Blystone. CNN World News in European Mornings was often double anchored. The usual team was a combination of Linden Soles, with either Ralitsa Vassileva or Bettina Luscher, all in Atlanta.

Yes, the 10PM CET edition of World News became the second London-based edition around that time (the 7PM CET edition was anchored jointly from London and Atlanta). At first, Hilary Bowker was the regular London anchor for both editions (and The International Hour ), with Blystone being the most frequent fill-in anchor. Previous (Atlanta-based) anchors of the 10PM CET edition included Sonia Ruseler, Bobbie Battista, and David Compton.
After Bowker's departure, Juanita Phillips anchored that edition for a while, before moving to mornings. I believe Fionnuala Sweeney replaced Phillips.

CNNI running some incredible live pictures at the moment from Manila of a tourist bus which has been hijacked by a dismissed ex-police officer, with 15 hostages reportedly still on board.
CNN anchor Anna Coren is reporting from only about 150 metres away from the bus, which is currently surrounded by SWAT teams exchanging machine-gunfire with the gunman. They've actually just had to break away to take cover.
Remarkable that the media have been allowed so close to the scene. And editorially its interesting that CNN have chosen to run with live pictures of a situation that has the potential to literally show people being injured. Sky News have also been covering the story, but have used only recorded pictures.
In fact . . . Anna Coren has just reported that a member of the media has just been hit by a bullet.
They really are incredibly close.

My goodness . . . if that was happening in the UK the media wouldn't be allowed within a mile of it.
Indeed I noticed Anna Coren on CNN around midnight last night our time . . . bet she didn't think her day would end up like this.
Looks like its over now. What an amazing sequence of events.
