A really interesting read for a very in-depth breakdown of the elements that make up the new studio.

Unusual desk! Wonder where the second presenter will sit? The same side as Cathy - with their back to the screen? Or where that second chair is placed? Like the white floor though the the frosted C4 logo on the glass

Based on that article I think we'll have to wait until 7pm before we see the full flexibility of the studio, and even then it might be more impressive over time as the director utilizes the different shots the new studio offers.

I hope the infamous chair spin returns to the credits.

Unless this combination of desks, wall fixtures and ceiling lights forms a '4' from a certain angle, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW.

I'd argue if there isn't a special ident for this then forget it.

It does, I think, if you view it from the position of the rear projection cube in that image, if lines up with the window frosting to make a '4' logo.

^^^ If that's the new set than I don't see much difference.

I imagine it's much like the 2 weeks Midlands Today had out of their set in 2007, more a general clean up than a complete refit, also structural work to fit more equipment in and also a new lighting grid!

Yup and look at the floor - a bit more work there than just rolling down some lino, that's for sure.

Studio looks good - a lot neater.
