Brexit is now official. I wonder how the broadcasters will cover it.

Dear Jesus.

Sorry. I should have framed my reaction a little bit better.

As I am saying this within a presentation forum; I wonder how all of the broadcasters covering Brexit in future will go about the next stages of it while they are reporting during the E.U. negotiations. I am saying this because these negotiations could become quite unpredictable & fascinating at the same time as we head into next week & beyond that if the negotiations with the E.U. do not go in the way that they are planned. Would any broadcaster in this case have the scope to create a further contingency plan for any future strategy while reporting on Brexit during these upcoming intense negotiations with the E.U.? It could actually give them some fair idea about where they are heading in the future throughout this period of time.

I'm sure that there will be contingency plans in place.

Was the director even paying attention, they could have cut away from that a bit sooner!

Not always as easy as that....

Almost as if they were trying to prove a point.

I think the point was proven by itself.

So RTE forced them to be obnoxious on camera .

Odd not to cut away sooner though, don't you think?

I watched the BBC News Channel live at 23:00 on Brexit night, but recorded the other channels to see how they did the presentation. To be honest, Sky News won it for me - the images projected over the Dover cliffs was quite something. And subtly put to music as well without commentary.

Channel 4 was just bizarre. But that’s just Channel 4 being Channel 4 Laughing

I'd be interested to know what the piece of music is that Sky News used. I'm assuming it was either an in-house jobby or Library Music?? I've not heard it before, that's for sure.

It sounds generic production music rather than anything commercial - YouTube / Shazam would pick it up.

Remember - Sky do have their own music library http://www.satvmusic.com so chances are it's from there.

Looks to me like they were using the old ITV News at Ten / late news eleven titles in parliament square during the countdown

Is that Channel 4’s “Countdown” clock I hear in the background too?
