Granada Reports, in my opinion, seems to have too many soft and fluffy stories, and not enough of the main news. I can't take the programme or presenters seriously. They have few reporters/correspondents at the scene of news stories, and not a recognisable pallet of news/weather/sport presenters.

North West Tonight has a much better style of presentation, i.e. on a desk mostly, not a sofa. The general level of journalism is much better and in-depth. Granada Reports barely scratch the surface. It really isn't a programme that I watch.

Not regular sports/weather presenters. Granada have a regular sports presenter and weather team.

It feels like there is a closer relationship between all of the NWT staff. The weather presenters never say anything to the main presenter, and vice versa on Granada. They do, however, on NWT. Similarly, with the sport, there is more chat between the two presenters on NWT.

Definitely Victoria Graham and Justin Leigh. The whole team there, including Andy Breare, Natalie Cornah and David Braine all work well together, and it feels like a team, rather than the ITV team of Steve Scott and Lisa Aziz who feel like a couple of star players rather than a team.

Hardly UK when the options are all English...?
I'd say Granada Reports take some beating, and that Riz Lateef is the worst.

I like Christine Talbot and Duncan Wood on Calendar. I like Fred Dinenage on my own "local" programme (Meridian Tonight) but with all due respect I can't get used to Sangetta. If Fred and Debbie Thrower still worked together they'd get my vote hands down

Victoria Graham and Justin Leigh for me too.

Victoria's giggles make me smile. Her and Simon McCoy must have a right laugh at home Razz

Former North East Tonight (North) presenters Jonathan Morrell and Phillipa Tomson who were serious when necessary, and showed they had a genuine relationship - working well on-screen for a news magazine programme. Plus former GMTV bulletins presenter Mark Warr, who I found was a decent presenter though was made redundant, and I know he was well thought of by TTTV, but obviously not anymore... We're now left with the rather dull Ian Payne and stalwart Pam Royle, with the awful Helen Pearson on GMTV bulletins..
