That new bbc world news logo sucks though it looked just right the current logo.
I agree that some of the proportioning in it looks a bit odd, however, it looks clearer and more consistent than the current mix of having one big logo with the "Live the Story" tagline, and one logo that's smaller without said tagline.

Yeah it wasn’t like that when it relaunched in 2013 but I agree with that.

Yeah it wasn’t like that when it relaunched in 2013 but I agree with that.

World's launch is probably 3 hours later due to the fact that they can't change how it looks in C while they're on air, meaning they have to wait until they're in Studio B to change it over. Wonder if anybody here will record the changeover, on World?

That's quite beautiful. Love it. From the stills of the Japanese one the animation looks like it could be good too.

Nice of them to do it on the during one of the times there’s a PBS simulcast so it will be in HD for me. Now the question is: how much burn in will there be on the plasmas? We already see it with the Newsnight logo (but why is that the shows on for an hour a day are they left on all night?) in certain graphics.
