Got it from Sky, thanks.

Well handled but what do we think happened there then?

I think it's a safe bet that they were having trouble with the video server. The late cuts and audio fades when the presenter tries to pad with the weather presenter were perhaps because the Director was also trying to get the server to play something - anything - and couldn't do both things at once.

Ironically they might wish that the one of the two bits of VT they did get to work (albeit without sound) hadn't, as somebody seemed to have missed this protester's banner... (spoilered due to language)

Quite an amusing late bulletin last night thanks to lots of technical failures. Sally did a good job padding things out with the help of an extended weather forecast from Christopher Blanchett.

Poor Sally - the Pacific Quay gremlins must have it in for her. Seems most, if not all, of the issues happen when she is presenting (yet not her fault I should add). Have no idea what happened with all this yet the main programme had a shaky start at half six as well? Sally did a marvellous job though - as per usual!!! I celebrate the fact that even though she is in her late fifties BBC Scotland still rate her enough to still be one of their main presenters. Indeed, experience really does count. Smile

I think they were trying to get the main story to play right til the last minute.

Yes, her and Catriona Shearer seem to bear the brunt of the problems.

Shame they removed it, was going to record it off iPlayer this morning. Vanished from TiVo iPlayer too.

Sally did a grand job interviewing DC - like the footy question at the end Smile

Sally interviewed the First minister tonight - liking the use of the other desk for this. The shots of the head to toe of the interviewee throughout the questioning today and yesterday was interesting. Again, her questioning was very good.

Nice to see the other area of the set being used. I really wish they would change the background behind the large table.

Nice switch between the screens used for weather and sport tonight - shows the flexibility of the studio. Smile

It's called "Hitting Headlines" from the CD "Media Power", and it's part of the De Wolfe music library. There are some interesting variations of it there.
