ABC NEWS is finally getting a brand new studio and HQ along with all of entire ABC Network operations. The entire network is upsticks and Disney is building a new HQ in the billion dollar HUDSON YARDS development. They have already sold their current home, but will lease the space back for 5 years until they have completely relocated.

Can ABC News get a new logo too? Always thought the upper-case serif clashed badly with the ABC logo.

But, it's not as you say the Hudson Yards area though is it?

Thought Hudson Yards was the space where the Amtrak/NJ Transit trains are stabled, just on the western approaches to Penn Station.

The linked story says its the Hudson Square area. The map suggests its set a couple of block back off the Hudson River waterfront

CNN is supposedly moving to that development. Supposedly part of CNN’s and the developers plan was to cover up the train yard with the buildings.

But from what I read over at Newscast Studio is that they actually bought/leased (99 year lease) an entire city block. Now the question is will the building be able to be built and outfitted within the five year lease back? I doubt it.

Reports said they got the enitre city block in five parcels. If you look at this map you can see the four buildings each count as a parcel as well as the internal T shape roadway inside.
