I have forgotten that the Guide to Mocking was a thing, and now, after refreshing myself, I'm hoping that this post will be a little bit better than my previous graphics.

One of the pieces of feedback I got on the first version of this concept was that the menu needed to be worked on.

I like the idea of separating the station names from the BBC logo, but having BBC.co.uk on there feels circa 2000.

Understandable.

It's a quick fix, but this isn't Discord, so I can't just post the same image with a tiny difference.

I would ask how exactly would the BBC logo look on when streaming on iPlayer/Play. I'd be worried that the three boxes wouldn't show up well.

I decided to make two versions of this. One with the first version of the logo, and one with the second, more recent version.

You seem to be correct in your statement.

Very nice. What could a logo for in-house productions (BBC Studios) look like?

Sorry to be the doom-monger here, but that flipper text is far too small, as is the secondary line of your main graphic (e.g. "Leicester City manager").

I didn't want the graphics to take up too much space, but I can see what you're pointing out.

I've long thought a revamped logo using the three blocks and BBC text would work as then the various channel brands don't always have to use "BBC" as just the three blocks may surfice. Personally I think though they'd be better stacked vertically on the left of the BBC logo, and then when appropriate they can appear with just the channel or brand logo without the need for "BBC" as well. It's also important that they are used in a consistent manner and are always spaced in the same way.

P.S. Scrapping the iPlayer brand would be incredibly dumb - so surprising the BBC haven't done it yet. Wink
