but the new digital kids channels will be called 'CBBC Digital' and 'Cbeebies'.

Yep, bit of a breakdown which meant the loss of the end of Miami 7 around 6.25pm tonight. I caught the CBBC Whoops! caption for a little while before returning to the studio and the two presenters filling.

Well, CBeebies has launched and it's nicely cropped. Why can't they either pillarbox or just press a little button to switch to 4:3? If CBBC isn't cropped I'll eat my hat.

Does anyone know the arrangements for the new studios for CBBC and CBeebies? I guess there'll be 4 (1 for CBBC on ONE/TWO, 1 for CBeebies on ONE/TWO, 1 for CBeebies and 1 for CBBC) What about presenters - how many do you think they'll have? They'll need a fair few more than they have now.

I was looking through the lisitngs on digiguide and came accross the lisitngs for CBBC Digital and CBeebies. Lets hope these are broadcast in 4:3 rather than the current nasty 14:9 crop used by CBBC.

I have checked the BBC press release on BBCi and what it says isthat there will be 'strong branding'. No doubt the new channels will be DOGged but that won't necessarily happen on BBC ONEand TWO.

The BBC have announced that CBBC and Cbeebies will both launch on Monday 11th February. Interestingly, the CBBC channel will include a UK Top 40 show on Sunday afternoons.
