Since you ignored me before I'll repeat my statement:
Nearly all of your posts on this forum have been in Requests. You should consider contributing to the forum in places that are
not
Requests before asking for a ridiculous amount of contributions from others.
It seems whenever I try contributing to other places, I get treated as though I am dumb. I'm sorry I don't have as much knowledge about tv as some others might but there is still no reason to act that way.
First of all there are no stupid questions. If you don't know, you don't know, but you can pick up a lot of knowledge by reading the other posts without a need to contribute at all. That's how forums work, you should really lurk for a while before joining up so you'll know how to fit in, but as you've already joined you can just observe, which does the same job.
You would do better to ask questions that help move the thread along or open up another avenue of discussion rather than just posting for the heck of it. So if we were in the middle of a discussion about, say, TV-am, you could read that and suddenly think, "oh, that's interesting, I didn't know they had no regional adverts, I wonder why?", and then jump in and ask about it, to enlighten yourself and others, you'll be surprised how many others had the same question but you were there first.
I've been on TV Forum longer than you've been alive. I dare say if I wanted a particular theme or sting from something somebody on here would be able to supply me with it if I put the request in and nobody would bat an eyelid about the validity of the request, because I post all over the forum and not just in requests. I wouldn't say everything I've contributed is top notch quality or even useful on occasion, but a reputation has to be earned.
