Granada's Theme

What was the name of the music, and is it available anywhere of Granada's theme tune, the one used on its very last closedown, and the one used when it used to start up in the mornings - which I remember being the same tune.

Hi - not sure if this is what you're after. I believe its called The Granada Theme by Graham Jones, and was used from 1982 onwards. It was posted on here prevously, but I can't remember by who (so apologies for not being able to credit the original poster). The file is quite large though, so you're better off right clicking, and saving as target:

Cheers, that's the one. I've never forgot that tune from when I was a kid (and I don't mean the goat variety but the US slang variety!)

I'm really glad. Those start-up tunes were really something weren't they? I always thought Yorkshire TV's 1982 theme was the best though, but I guess it all depends on what you grew up with.

I have the Granada Closedown music (a shorter variation of the above) somewhere on my HDD. It's not perfect quality,
since it's encoded from a dusty old 1984 VHS tape I found a few months back, and re-processed to remove noise.
